Group Healthcare Rates through membership in the Chamber of Commerce would reduce healthcare premiums via the Law of Supply and Demand. It would also generate more income for local Chambers of Commerce (via membership fees) as they seek job growth for local communities.
Chamber of Commerce membership is offered to businesses and individuals. Group Healthcare Rates through Chamber membership will GREATLY reduce the number of persons without health insurance coverage, because it will make such coverage available at affordable rates. The problem with high healthcare premiums is due to group rates not being available except to large corporations/organizations. Small businesses and individuals who would buy health insurance cannot purchase healthcare coverage at the same prices as persons who work for large corporations/organizations.
Individuals who could not afford the annual Chamber membership fee and corresponding healthcare group rates could be given the OPTION of NON-MANDATORY Obamacare. However Obamacare should also be MODIFIED so that individual on Obamacare WILL NOT be asked to REPAY any SUBSIDIZED PREMIUMS as their income grows. This CURRENT and WIDEY UNKNOWN feature of Obamacare traps people in poverty with no hope of getting out because the federal government keeps track of Obamacare recipients income for the purpose of recouping the subsidized premiums. If the government demands an individual's increase in income, that individual will never be able to prosper. This is MORALLY WRONG!
